We believe in the free flow of information, unbound by ads, algorithms and trackers. For that reason we only link to or embed platforms which adhere to these principles. Open source software benefits from the promise of higher transparency, superior quality, better reliability, greater flexibility, lower cost, and no predatory vendor lock-in. It’s for this reason you’ll see videos hosted by Peertube, but not by Youtube. The table below highlights more of the platforms you will see linked from NHAM as well as those you won’t.
