Follow us for music updates from artists in the Fedi who distribute their songs on fair platforms.

NHAM is an online music magazine for all things Fedi-music. It draws connections between indie musicians, fair distribution platforms and listeners, under a shared ethos.

We publish regular new music releases, reviews and news from the community to an audience of thousands of unique daily visitors.

As the go to music curation platform in the Fediverse NHAM also hosts music videos, has a radio channel and contains gig listings for both real life and online performances.

We aim to help develop and nurture the ecosystem which envelopes all of the fair platforms that currently support indie artists in The Fediverse, and in turn enhance discovery, distribution, attribution, fair artist payment, consent and trust. Interoperability and community are key to making this work.

Are You Ready for Radio Free Fedi FEST?!

July is here! And with it comes a month long artists’ streaming series brought to you by @radiofreefedi.

At the time of writing 20 shows have been confirmed and it all kicks off tonight with the wonderful @shannoncurtis playing a special 90 minute show fresh off their 80’s Kids tour.

Every event will be streamed live at party.radiofreefedi.net and the set times for all of the acts can be found on the same page.

Tomorrow (2nd July) we’ll be streaming a special live NHAM mixtape show, showcasing some of the acts performing throughout the extravaganza, and answering your questions live on stream.

The hangouts at these live streamed events are going to be epic and you can join in however best suits you: whether just quietly enjoying the music or actively mingling along in the live chat, firing off those dazzling @owncast emojis.

I'm Sam and I quit my Spotify subscription when I realised just how much great music is being made by independent musicians on fair platforms. I've been publishing the NHAM Mixtapes ever since.
